How to Stop Trackers

Trackers are invisible scripts and requests that follow you across websites. A good privacy setup reduces tracker requests, limits fingerprinting, and avoids tools that collect browsing telemetry.

1) Block common tracker requests

Use a privacy-first blocker that runs locally. AdShield Pro is designed for offline-first, local-only filtering so your browsing activity isn’t shipped elsewhere.

Overview: Tracker Blocker.

2) Reduce third-party cookies

Browsers increasingly restrict third-party cookies, but you can still review your privacy settings and clear site data for services you don’t trust.

3) Avoid “free” tools that track you

Many tools monetize by collecting usage analytics. Prefer extensions that clearly state “no tracking, no telemetry.”

Details: Privacy Policy.

4) Fix sites that break

Some sites depend on third-party scripts. When something breaks, try disabling blocking for that site, then refresh.

Next: Fix broken sites.
